Who flies into Eagle

Eagle or Denver

From Denver the drive to Vail is about 120 miles. Vail Pass, which the Denver route crosses and the Eagle route to Vail does not, closes for weather roughly 10 to 25 times a winter. Landing in Eagle removes that pass from the trip to Vail and Beaver Creek entirely. Breckenridge is the exception: from Eagle the road crosses Vail Pass.
