The tower is staffed 6 AM to 10 PM, and the airport asks pilots to avoid flights after 10 PM under a voluntary noise program. BJC is also a US Customs user-fee airport. A late arrival is possible, but it is worth checking the plan with your operator before you book the car.

On US-36: Boulder and Estes Park
US-36 runs past the field, so Boulder is a short hop and the mountain trip starts west of the city instead of crossing it. The Estes Park route follows the same highway on through Boulder and Lyons.
